This summer has been one on Vietnamese history: some for research and some for the sheer pleasure of knowledge. Vào cuối thế kỷ thứ 15, tức thời kỳ Âu Châu thám hiểm đến Bắc Mỹ, thế giới thổ dân da đỏ thay đổi khá nhiều từ hay thế kỷ trước. Về dân số thì ước tính từ ba đến sáu triệu người trước khi Christopher Columbus và người Âu Châu qua. Còn toàn Tân Thế Giới thì từ 10 đến 20 triệu người. Trên một lục địa lớn lao, người da đỏ có đủ thành phần về cơ sở, tổ chức, kinh tế, v.v.
